Peer Review Process
All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or iThenticate. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.
We do not tolerate:
- Direct plagiarism
- Idea plagiarism
- Self-plagiarism from previously published work
Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Jejama Psikologika are subject to a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure impartiality.
Review Stages
- Initial Screening:
- Conducted by the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to assess topic relevance, format, and initial originality.
- Plagiarism Check:
- Using Turnitin/iThenticate. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity will be returned.
- Peer Review:
- The manuscript is sent to two reviewers for evaluation of scientific merit, methodology, and contribution.
- Editorial Decision:
- Based on reviewer recommendations: Accept, Minor/Major Revisions, or Reject.
- Author Revision:
- Authors have up to 2 weeks for minor and 4 weeks for major revisions.
- Re-review (if needed):
- Major revisions may be reassessed by the same reviewers.
Review Timeline
- Average peer review time: 4–6 Days
- Full process (submission to final decision): within 8 weeks, depending on reviewer and author response times.
