Peer Review Process

All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or iThenticate. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.

We do not tolerate:

  • Direct plagiarism
  • Idea plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism from previously published work

Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jejama Psikologika are subject to a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure impartiality.

 

Review Stages

  1. Initial Screening:
    • Conducted by the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to assess topic relevance, format, and initial originality.
  2. Plagiarism Check:
    • Using Turnitin/iThenticate. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity will be returned.
  3. Peer Review:
    • The manuscript is sent to two reviewers for evaluation of scientific merit, methodology, and contribution.
  4. Editorial Decision:
    • Based on reviewer recommendations: Accept, Minor/Major Revisions, or Reject.
  5. Author Revision:
    • Authors have up to 2 weeks for minor and 4 weeks for major revisions.
  6. Re-review (if needed):
    • Major revisions may be reassessed by the same reviewers.

 

Review Timeline

  • Average peer review time: 4–6 Days
  • Full process (submission to final decision): within 8 weeks, depending on reviewer and author response times.
