All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
  1. General Information

SiRad: Pelita Wawasan accepts research articles in the fields of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Submitted manuscripts must be original and unpublished and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will undergo a peer review process by at least one reviewer, though in certain cases, additional reviewers may be involved to ensure academic quality and originality.

  1. Manuscript Formatting
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx), using the provided journal template (mandatory).
  • Font: Goudy Old Style, size 11 pt, line spacing multiple (1.15).
  • Manuscript Length: 4,500 - 8,000 words, including abstract, references, and bodynotes.
  • Language: Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Authors must maintain consistency in spelling (British or American English).
  • Transliteration: Arabic terms or quotations should follow the Library of Congress transliteration guidelines.
  1. Manuscript Structure

Submitted manuscripts should follow this structure:

Title

  • Concise, informative, and no longer than 15 words.
  • Written in Title Case (capitalize each word except conjunctions).

Author(s) and Affiliation

  • Full names of the authors (without academic titles).
  • Institutional affiliation and email of the corresponding author.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract should be no more than 250 words, written as a single paragraph.
  • Must include background, research objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.
  • Keywords: A maximum of 5 keywords representing the article’s core topics.

Introduction

  • Background and significance of the research.
  • Research questions and objectives.
  • Literature review and the study’s contribution to the field.

Research Methodology

  • Clear description of research design, population and sample, data collection techniques, and analytical methods.
  • For qualitative research, include research approaches, interview or observation techniques, and data validation methods.
  • For quantitative research, specify statistical techniques and software used.

Results and Discussion

  • Presentation of research findings, supported by tables, figures, or graphs where necessary.
  • Critical analysis linking results to previous studies and theoretical perspectives.

Conclusion and Recommendations

  • Summary of key findings.
  • Academic or practical implications of the research.
  • Suggestions for future research.

References

  • Must follow APA (7th Edition) referencing style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
  • At least 60% of references must be from scholarly journals published within the last five years.

  1. Submission and Review Process
  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal System (OJS) at [insert submission link].
  • All manuscripts will be subject to peer review by at least one reviewer, though some manuscripts may be evaluated by multiple reviewers if necessary.
  • The review process is expected to take approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on the complexity of revisions required.
  • Authors will receive feedback and may be asked to revise their manuscripts accordingly.
  • The final decision on manuscript acceptance rests with the journal’s editorial board.
  1. Article Processing Charges (APC)
  • The journal does not charge publication fees (free of charge) for authors.
  • However, in certain cases, if a manuscript requires substantial revisions involving professional assistance (such as language editing or document reformatting), an additional service fee may apply.
  1. Copyright and Licensing
  • The journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
  • Authors retain copyright, but the journal holds distribution rights.
