Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to REACT: Research in Education and Critical Transformation undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Review Workflow:
- Initial Screening: The editorial team reviews the manuscript for compliance with author guidelines, plagiarism check, and thematic relevance.
- Double-Blind Review: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
- Review Timeframe: Reviewers are given 2–4 weeks to complete their assessments.
- Revision: Based on reviewers' comments, authors may be requested to revise their manuscript. Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated.
- Editorial Decision: The final decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) is made by the editor-in-chief or editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations.
- Copyediting and Layout: Accepted papers undergo language editing, layout formatting, and final proofreading before publication.
All communications between authors, editors, and reviewers are managed through the OJS platform to ensure transparency and confidentiality.
