Plagiarism

REACT: Research in Education and Critical Transformation is committed to upholding the integrity and originality of academic work. All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using appropriate similarity-checking software prior to being sent for peer review.

The editorial team defines plagiarism as the use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or work without proper acknowledgment. This includes direct copying, paraphrasing without citation, and self-plagiarism, which is the reuse of one's previously published work without disclosure or citation.

Manuscripts with a similarity level exceeding 20 percent, excluding references and properly quoted material, may be rejected or returned to the author for revision before further processing.

Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original and that any content drawn from existing sources is properly cited. If plagiarism is identified after publication, the editorial team reserves the right to retract the article and notify the author’s institution.

REACT encourages authors to use reference management tools and plagiarism-checking software before submission to help maintain academic standards. The journal takes research ethics seriously and will take appropriate action in any case of academic misconduct.
