REACT: Research in Education and Critical Transformation is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. This statement is based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved in the publication process: editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher.

✳ Duties of Editors:

  • Ensure fair and unbiased evaluation of manuscripts, based solely on academic merit.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all manuscript submissions and reviewer identities.
  • Prevent any conflict of interest in the editorial decision-making process.
  • Take appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct, including plagiarism or data falsification.

✳ Duties of Reviewers:

  • Provide constructive, objective, and timely evaluations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid discussing the manuscript with others.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest that may affect the review.
  • Report any suspected ethical violations (e.g., plagiarism, duplicate submission).

✳ Duties of Authors:

  • Submit original and unpublished work that accurately reflects the research conducted.
  • Properly cite all sources and references.
  • Avoid plagiarism and data manipulation in any form.
  • Disclose any potential conflict of interest or funding sources.
  • Cooperate with the editorial process and respond to revision requests promptly.

  • Ensure the availability and accessibility of published content.
  • Provide resources to support editorial independence and ethical publishing practices.
