Abstract
This study aims to analyze the strengthening of social solidarity and community concern through the Kampung Bahagia Program based on religious values in RT 05, Jalan Perdana 2, Paal Lima Subdistrict, Kota Baru District, Jambi City. The program was developed as an effort to increase community participation in addressing social and environmental issues through activities oriented toward togetherness, concern for others, and religious values. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of community social activities, as well as the involvement of neighborhood administrators and residents in implementing the Kampung Bahagia Program. The results show that the program can serve as a means of strengthening social relationships among residents through mutual cooperation activities, support for residents experiencing hardship or misfortune, religious activities, environmental cleanliness, public health initiatives, neighborhood security, and youth empowerment activities. Religious values such as ta‘āwun (mutual assistance), ukhuwah (brotherhood), compassion, charitable giving (sadaqah), deliberation (shūrā), and maintaining social ties (silaturahmi) serve as foundations that encourage residents to participate voluntarily. The implementation of the program not only contributes to environmental improvement and social life but also fosters a sense of belonging, shared responsibility, and concern for others. Therefore, the Kampung Bahagia Program based on religious values can serve as a model of community empowerment at the neighborhood level that sustainably integrates social, religious, and community dimensions.
